So, What is the Borby Blend?
Our Borby Blend technique blends two smaller fans of different lengths to form one Mega fan. It emphasizes texture and dimension in the lash layers, delivering density and maintaining fullness, giving traditional Mega Volume lash designs a signature Borby Twist!
What is a Midi Fan?
A Midi Fan is larger than a standard Volume fan and smaller than a Mega fan. As standard in the lash industry, a Volume fan consists of 3-6 lashes, a Midi fan consists of 6-15 lashes, and a Mega Volume fan can be 15+ lashes. Midi fans are placed on the middle layer of natural lashes during a Borby Blend set to deliver softness and texture to the overall look. Pro Artistry Course FAQs
Q: Do I need to be a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician to take the training?
A: Yes and also, we expect you to be at an advanced level with your Classic and Volume Lash techniques. Before registering for any Borboleta training courses, it is your responsibility to know and abide by the laws of your state regarding eyelash extensions. We recommend that you check with the Department Of Professional Licensing in your state to know what is required of you. Those living in states where a Cosmetology or Esthetics license is required to do eyelash extensions will be required to show proof of their license when registering for any course.
Q: Do I have to purchase a kit with my course?
A: The Pro Artistry kit is included in the cost of your course and has everything you need to complete your course and take models.
Q: Is there a model day included in this training?
A: If learning online with us, no. The Pro Artistry course has one 6 hr theory day. Model submissions will be required after completing the theory for certification. There will be an additional add on purchase for a Model day when learning in person with us.
Q: Is there a way to learn just the Borby Blend or just the business strategies?
